U. S. Navy, entry-level training for Force Protection sentry duties to protect their units and its personnel.
Students are taught safe weapons handling used during the change of watch and movements on post.
Basic marksmanship for the handgun, rifle and shotgun are taught, and Navy small arms qualification courses will be fired.
Sailors will learn deployment of and engage threats with the expandable baton and handcuffing techniques.
The course culminates with a four hour watch in which students are tested with scenarios that require communication and quick thinking.
